Education
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in business or public administration, finance, accounting, law, social sciences or related area. Specialisation in business management or enterprise development is desirable. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Work Experience
A minimum of fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, administration, logistics, financial management, budget or related field is required.
Out of these, at least ten years of progressively responsible experience in economic research and analysis, policy formulation, application of economic principles and programme management in the area of enterprise development is desirable.
Prior experience in the field of accounting and enterprise development is desirable.
Experience in management as a senior officer in an international organization is desirable.
Experience in dealing with the intergovernmental, legislative and oversight bodies of the United Nations common system is also desirable.
