The Anti-Racism Team is responsible for high-level oversight, coordination, monitoring, advocacy, mainstreaming, and long-term sustainability of the activities of implementing departments and offices in the global Secretariat in addressing racism and discrimination, including the compounded nature of intersectional discrimination, and in advancing geographical representation and gender parity in the United Nations Secretariat.

The Director will lead the oversight, coordination, monitoring, advocacy, mainstreaming and sustainability activities of the Team in attaining geographical representation and gender parity in all categories and at all levels of personnel and in addressing all forms of anti-racism.
