Internship Vacancy Announcement

The United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS) is recruiting an intern who can provide support in collecting and analysing data on international environmental agreements and case law.

 

ㅁ Duration : Three months

 

ㅁ Number of Positions : 1

 

ㅁ Required Qualifications

 

- Postgraduate (or mature undergraduate) student or recent graduate with a research interest in and basic knowledge of international environmental law and governance.
- Fluency in academic English is absolutely essential.

 

ㅁ Position Responsibilities

 

- Collect and analyse data on international environmental agreements and case law.

- Assist UNU-IAS’s Sustainable Development Governance Programme with its project on Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals.

- Provide editorial support for policy and academic publications.

 

ㅁ Starting Date

 

3 February 2013 or on a mutually agreed upon date.

 

ㅁ Interns’ Expenses

 

Interns are not financially remunerated by UNU-IAS. The Institute also accepts no responsibility for costs arising from accidents and/or illness incurred during the internship. Interns must provide proof of enrolment in a health insurance plan.
