EDUCATION

Advanced University degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Geophysical Science, Physics, or a related field. A combination of a Master degree (or equivalent) and three additional years of relevant professional experience may be accepted in lieu of the Ph.D.


WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional research experience in Earth System Physics or a related field.
Demonstrated professional experience in the field of Earth System Science, with emphasis on one or more of the following areas: high resolution regional climate modelling, up to convection-permitting scales; modelling at the regional scale of hydrology and land surface processes and their interactions with climate; or assessment of hazards and risks related to meteoclimatic events.
