This internship position is located in the Office of Legal Affairs and Compliance (ODG/LEG), which assists the Organization in achieving its goals by ensuring that all its activities and programmes are in compliance with the Organization’s external and internal legal framework. The core function of the Office consists in the provision of sound and impartial legal advice and expert legal assistance in order to promote the rule of law and to manage legal risks in all aspects of the Organization’s activities, as well as to defend the Organization’s rights, positions and interests in contractual and litigation matters.

The Intern shall be assigned under the direct supervision of the Director of ODG/LEG.

The duration of an internship at UNIDO is between three to six months, is UNPAID and full-time. Interns work under the supervision of a staff member, in the department or office that they are assigned to. Interns shall cover all costs associated with their internship, including visas, travel to and from the duty station, insurance, transportation, accommodation and living expenses.
