2. 부서 개요
The Bureau of Management supports management for development results; it provides operational and infrastructure solutions, strengthens the ability of UNDP to achieve programme and development results, keeps pace with the evolving needs and expectations of development partners and at the same time safeguards the organization's accountability vis-à-vis member states. The bureau provides advisory and transactional services and support to UNDP and UN agencies in its core functional areas. The bureau, as custodian of the management practice in UNDP, develops management policies imparting these through Executive Board documents, Regulations and Rules prescriptive content, management networks, management tools and strategic leadership.
The Bureau of Management oversees policy adherence, safeguarding UNDP and Administrator accountability. It manages cross-cutting functions linked to change management and acts as the operations unit of Headquarters, providing operational services for implementation of UN Reform initiatives.
The bureau is based in UNDP Headquarters, New York, with out-posted locations/presence in Denmark, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Panama, Senegal, Slovakia, South Africa, Thailand and Uruguay.

3. 주요 업무
The Management Consulting team is one of the 10 functional units within the Bureau of Management. This team's mission is to enhance the organizational effectiveness of UNDP through internal management consulting services. As a JPO, I am expected to contribute to enhance overall organizational effectiveness and strategic decision-making and direction by supporting engagements with country offices, headquarters units and UN Country Teams in the field. In doing so, clients are expected to (a) be better equipped to deliver programme results, (b) optimize strategic, resource and systems/procedures alignment, and (c) enhance UN coherence and coordination. More specifically, I undertake research and data analysis, and participate in change management engagements.
The team provides services to business units (and occasionally to sister agencies) in the following service lines:
• Support to planning change processes
• Strategy & Planning
• Organisational Design
• Business Process Reengineering
• Analytics & Cross-cutting Content Development
• Management & Consulting Training
Over the past six months, I have participated in engagements with the following clients:
• Office of Information Systems and Technology (Change Management)
• Bureau of Crisis Prevention and Recovery (Business Process Reengineering)
• Bureau of Policy Development (Service Delivery)
• Iran Country Office (Organisational Analysis)
• UN Women (Strategy & Planning, Business Process Reengineering)
I have also undertaken research and analysis for engagements with the following clients:
